As i understand, nris r allowed to invest only thru PIS potifolio investment scheme which has several restrictions like no intraday trading , restriction on the companies we can invest in and also derivatives. But i have got a lot of contradicting info about trading in derivatives.

My question is Can a nri investor trade in derivatives like futures and options? Any feedback would be really appreciated thanks.

Non Repatriable means, the money invested in the india can't be taken out of country. Coming to NRI trade in derivaties, neither ICICI nor Geogit allow you to do so.
